Smiles, Joy & Confidence

We all want to smile; it’s good for us to do so.  But a teeth that are crooked or crowded can turn what should be one of life’s pleasures into something to avoid and fear, something that is a source of shame instead of joy.  The fact is, without a nice smile we don’t feel confident smiling.

Braces position and align teeth to create a better bite and smile. They are often used to correct underbites, overbites, cross bites, or open bites that make eating or speaking difficult. Braces can also improve facial imbalances caused by misaligned jaws. Finally, they prevent toot decay and gum disease by aligning teeth and making it easier to brush and floss.

Whether flaws are cosmetic or structural, crooked teeth and various other situations of teeth and jaws can be improved with braces. AGE 7 IS THE BEST TIME FOR AN ORTHODONTIC CHECK-UP. Early orthodontic intervention during adolescence is best while the teeth are most mobile. However, I recently finished treatment with my 60-year young patient. So you are never too old to start braces.

Don't Like Braces?

An alternative to braces, Invisalign are transparent custom-made aligners that straighten teeth. They are removable and require no wires or brackets.

How It Works

Patients wear each set of aligners for two weeks before switching to another aligner better shaped to the ideal smile. Aligner must ONLY be remove to eat, drink and brush. Otherwise, the next aligner will not fit.

Total treatment time is about a year with the patient using 18 to 30 aligners.
